It's the most wonderful time of the year. December 1st. And Christmas is just around the corner. The stockings have been hung. The trees have been trimmed. And the C house pretty much looks like Christmas threw up all over it. It's kind of amazing, actually. I'm like Clark Griswold in a condo. Seriously. So many lights up in this place (inside AND out, ya'll. I do not discriminate) that I think the fine people at NES are thanking me for their Christmas bonuses this year. YOU'RE WELCOME, Fine People of Nashville Electric! Merry Christmas!

I love Christmas. If I haven't already made that evident. I'm like...well, a kid on Christmas Morning, pretty much. Except I'm like that the entire month of December. (And most of October and all of November....who am I kidding?!...) Christmas carols blaring and a skinny peppermint latte in hand (not a mocha, people, those are far too sweet for me), and it really is the most wonderful time of the year! Don't you agree?

And speaking of Christmas...Last week, I told you about the fabulous Christmas photoshoot that DGC and I had with the ever so talented Apryl Murphy. Remember?

Well, now that the official Christmas cards have been ordered and are [hopefully] being printed as we speak....I thought I'd go ahead and share some of the photos that didn't make the card this year, but were definitely favorites and in the running....

Really, these photos are awesome because of Apryl...not because of anything that we did. I can't begin to tell you how much I love her! I am continually amazed that the beautiful ideas that she comes up with and the art that she creates. If you're in North Alabama or Southern Tennessee and looking for a photographer, I give her my highest recommendation. And no, she isn't paying me for that plug. In fact, she doesn't even know I am blogging about her awesomeness...

I can't wait to share the final Christmas cards with you as soon as they are ready! They are kind of amazing, actually. I typically go all out on Christmas cards (and everything else Christmas-related...I'm kind of an over-the-top kinda girl, if you haven't noticed...), but this year's is hands down, my favorite so far! :)

If so, let me know all the details! I'm always up for finding new deals! Besides, it's never too early to start on Christmas Cards for 2012!
