Last night, DGC and I went out with the Susan to celebrate my birthday.


We had dinner at Ruth's Chris.


I hadn't been there in AGES.

{I always forget about that place, actually.}

It was absolutely wonderful.

They made me the cutest little dessert.

After dinner, I gave Susan a little tutorial on how to pose for the camera...

...and she gave me the hair dryer that I've been wanting for months!

And a few other things.

It was truly an absolutely wonderful day, followed by an absolutely perfect night.

Thanks for all of the sweet messages, facebook posts, text messages, phone calls, and emails. I've said it a million times, and I'll say it once more - I don't know what I ever did to deserve such a wonderful group of friends.

You guys are amazing.

And you made my 28th birthday spectacular.
